Microdata is an unfinished series from 2015 where I took several average/daily text messages - insignificant exchanges between friends, wrong numbers, etc - and transcribed them through a typewriter to make tiny, hand-made "books".
We are overloaded with constant, digital information. How do we deem what is important enough for our attention, for our archives, our history? In jest, I added these ordinary exchanges into a hard form to explore these questions further as well as document casual communication through text message.
