Caress explores the role of touch as a means for transmitting and perceiving information by addressing physical forms of knowing. Following a tradition of haptic investigation rooted in fiber arts and material studies, Caress, builds on this practice to include electronics and social practice as a means for presenting a feminist point of view in the desire to create alternate forms of artistic communication.
