In thinking about Generative Art, I was prompted by then-professor, Robert Spahr, to: "Create a piece that explores time – not in a narrative sense, but like Reich's essay "Music as a Gradual Process". This is something you set into motion and then observe." In response to this, I took a very short video of myself staring into the camera and from there, extracted 50 frames, copying each picture 5 times. Each photo was then put on its own web page. When the first page opens, it will automatically refresh to a new page, creating an internet flipbook, so to speak.
